Health Center Construction
The LMAF’s health center construction has been an exciting project. The locals participated owners of the health center. They understood that healthcare is everybody’s business. We took the health center project seriously, they took it seriously and now the building is standing ready to begin serving the same people who built the center.
Donation of Medical Materials
In our desire to partner with other medical centers and healthcare institutions, the LMAF has been donating drugs, medicine, medical equipment and materials in institutions to strengthen their work. On such institution is the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. The photo above shows LMAF team at the Ministry during a donation ceremony.
Training Health workers
The LMAF has launched a special project to train several health care works in the leward counties. This project is geared at equiping local communities to assist themselves and their fellow compatriots. The training will involve both men and women and individuals who can serve capacities such as mid-wifery.
